"Connecting the Individual, Global and Universal"

Promoting sustainable education

About

People Educating People Inc. is a grassroots movement promoting sustainable and health-living educational practices.  We are a Florida-based nonprofit consisting of professional educators, parents, community health professionals and urban farmers working to increase student literacy through place-based learning and gardening experiences. Our educational non-profit strives to create natural educational learning spaces and programs used to enhance literacy instruction. We work with schools and community organizations supporting community gardens and healthy living spaces/projects to reinforce cross-curricular literacy. We also provide grant funds to local community projects.

Thank you for visiting our project. Our mission is to improve literacy through a focus on food and food production systems. We support Pinellas County-based school gardening organizations and programs by helping them connect with local resources in order to sustain the gardens.

School gardens are a cost-effective way for students to learn content specific subjects as well as reconnect with nature.

People Educating People, Inc. is a non-profit organization. We operate solely on grants and personal donations. Thank you for supporting our cause. Every little bit helps us to further our goal of eliminating  illiteracy and growing abundant prosperous gardens.

We are a tax-exempt 501 (c) (3) organization.  All donations are IRS tax deductible.
